Tutus & Dancewear by Design Inc. intertwines two of the great loves of my life: my beautiful and talented daughter, and Dance. Over the years I, like many other mothers whose children dance, have delighted in watching her light up the stage and flourish into a graceful and stunning Ballerina.
In 2008, my daughter received a Ballet Solo, but the studio seamstress was overwhelmed by all of the costumes she had to make. Our Ballet Teacher suggested we either buy a recycled costume or we search out our own costume. I chose the latter. After a difficult and frustrating week of searching I found the perfect tutu for my Ballerina.
A light bulb went off in my head! Surely there must be other mothers out there searching, just like me, for that perfect creation for their beautiful Ballerina. With the wonderful support of my husband and my family, I created Tutus & Dancewear by Design Inc. to help other dancers, parents and teachers find that "one of a kind creation" for that "one of a kind performance".
Our Mission
At Tutus & Dancewear by Design Inc., our focus is on creating high quality ballet and lyrical dance costumes at affordable prices without sacrificing the elegance of design and the detail and quality of the workmanship.
We specialize in providing "One of a Kind Creations" for soloists and dance groups that are as unique and creative as each dance performance is itself. We provide individual and customized services throughout all project phases. An artistic director is responsible for, and is continuously involved in each project—from start to finish, large or small—providing personal attention, creative input and effective collaboration to ensure the perfect fit and look.
